Ron Watts Mayor 2005/6
Although he has now reduced his voluntary work due to ill health, many people will know Ron from his links with a great many
organisations and support this decision to honour a tireless worker for the benefit of the town. He was previously honoured by
the Town Council for his work as a councillor and in town organisations, He has served as Mayor and that along with his
chairmanship of the Museum Trust were just some of many community services he undertook.
